CPD Aims

The role and importance of traditional occlusal principles which will be underpinned with current evidence. We will explore the role of occlusion with common TMJ problems and what prosthodontic treatment options have a place for these patients. With the aid of clinical cases we will demonstrate the role and indication for both simple and complex Articulators and occlusal splints. Discussion of the management of para-functional patients with reference to occlusal factors relevance and restoration design and material choice.
